Slack – Next Steps

After completing this course, you should have enough knowledge to send messages, navigate the sidebar and format your messages. While this is usually the right amount of knowledge to get by, I recommend further exploring what Slack has to offer.

Even with a decade of Slack use under my belt, I’m still learning new things about it. That is to say, don’t feel like you need to know everything. It’s ok to know just enough!


Improve Collaboration and Workflows

One of the benefits of tools like Slack is that it encourages engagement and community building. In an increasingly remote-first environment, it can help keep everyone connected and provide a medium for building stronger relationships. It also has the flexibility to help you reduce interruptions and get in to your own ‘focus mode’.
